Thought I'd quickly post this casual outfit from my holiday in Spain. My family and I spent the evening having a picnic and fishing on the beach which was so much fun! I'm not sure if it's just me but I find something about the sea so relaxing and beautiful. I have to say looking at these photographs now make me extremely sad that it is not longer shorts weather in England however, bring on the pumpkin spice lattes and fluffy jumpers!

Holiday Edition: The Bronzed Beach Babe Glow.

Whenever I'm on the beach I want to make sure that I have a minimal effort but maximum effect bronzed beach glow with simple and easy mermaid waves to match. These four products have been the absolute key to achieving this simple but put together look.

Now I don't tend to bother with foundation or concealer when visiting the beach as the sun will just cause you to sweat which inevitably will make you:

A. look like a hot sweaty melted mess.

B. block your pores causing breakouts.

But aswell as this I think that it is important to avoid wearing foundation and concealer as much as possible on holiday to give your skin the opportunity to breath.

So here we have it a step by step guide to beautiful bronzed beach skin:

Step 1: Dust NARS Laguna bronzer £27 onto cheekbones, forehead and temples blend with any bronzing or contour brush. I usually use the Real Techniques contour brush from the Core Collection.

Step 2:Take Topshop Glow highlighter in Polish £9 and dab on top of cheekbones, underneath both eyebrows and onto cupids bow then blend in using your fingers.

Step 3: Apply a thin layer of mascara to top and bottom lashes to add definition. I love to use the new Volume Million Lashes So Couture by L'Oreal £10.99.

Step 4: Apply a small amount of lip balm to give lips moisure and a subtle shine.

Step 5: Spray salt spray into your hair to give yourself those natural beachy waves. My current favourite product is the got2b Beach Matt Texturizing Salt Spray £2.66 as it does the job with no added complications!

This routine has worked amazingly for me this summer and although now summer is slowly coming to an end I am aiming to use these products to keep me looking bronzed for as long as physically possible.

The Unrealistic Birthday Wishlist

So it's my birthday next Friday and I'm turning 22 years old which is crazy. Although I have already achieved and learnt so much I have so many goals for the future and I most certainly am not 'feeling 22'. However, I have to say I do often wonder what my life will look like this time next year?

Here's a rather large and slightly unrealistic birthday wishlist that I have put together (that Chanel bag will be mine one day) and if anyone is feeling super kind and giving then please feel free to spoil me! (just kidding) I usually am quite a monochromatic dresser but I am literally dying to get my grubby little hands on those Topshop clean rose cigarette trousers the pattern is absolutely gorgeous and I am a massive fan of cigarette trousers for day to evening dressing. I can just picture it now those Topshop cigarette trousers paired up with nude strappy Zara heels, a simple black Cami and accessorized with a classic silver Daniel Wellington watch, silver midi rings and that black Whistles croc-effect clutch - perfect!

Holiday Edition: Poolside Essentials

No matter where I am I will always make sure I have my trusty Hand Cream and Lip Balm with me - especially by the poolside. The Soap and Glory products are always in my opinion 10/10 and this Endless Glove cream is great for not only the hands but the face as well - magic! If like me you enjoy sunbathing then suncream is an absolute must and the higher the SPF the better!! Nobody likes the tomato look and you definitely do not want sunstroke either (been there done that and it ain't pretty.) I don't usually shell out to much on suncream so this cheap and affordable Tesco's suncream has hit the nail on the head for me.

Finally, the most important poolside essential in my eyes is a good book and after binge watching 'My Mad Fat Diary' on Channel 4 and drooling over Nico Mirallegro I had to pick up both of Rae Earls books so I could indulge in even more of the hilarious writers teenage life.

I'm currently blogging from beautiful sunny Spain! I can't even begin to describe how nice it feels to be able to just relax for a bit and gather my thoughts. For the next two weeks expect to see a lot of holiday themed blog posts as I am going to take advantage of the glorious Spanish scenery. Here is a quick outfit I put together last night for a cute little Thai meal. I am absolutely hooked on this White Croc-Effect Leather skirt that I picked up in the Topshop sale recently, it is going to be a great Summer to Autumn/Winter piece I tell you now.
