Being the type of person who has really pale and washed out skin in the winter months I've been finding myself crushing over Autumnal mauves and dirty rose colours. Any mauve make-up look in general is really flattering to the skin giving it a natural dusty glow.  I've been chasing after MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick and MAC Whirl Lip liner for about a month now and I am having absolutely no luck whatsoever - all thanks to Kylie Jenner! So fingers crossed for me that I can actually manage to get hold of them before my graduation on November 7th.

 Autumn fashion is in full force and I couldn't help but notice the double pearl trend inspired by Chanel S/S14 that is dominating the blogging world. 2014 is definitely the age of minimalist dressing and these accessories just pull together any Autumn outfit. I grabbed these pieces from a variety of stores and now I can't stop buying more and more! I'm on the hunt for some super cute pearl earrings next - when will the spending ever end!

I thought I'd start by apologising for yet another disappearance but now I'd like to update you on what has been going on in my life recently.

For the last ten years of my life I have being going through orthodontic treatment to straighten my crooked teeth and fix my mandibular prognathism which is also know as an underbite. On Monday 6th October at Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill I had my underbite surgery which took 2 and a half hours. Since then I've been busy recovering and I am getting stronger each day. I want to talk about my underbite and brace experience but will wait until the latter part of my recovery to discuss my story.

I must admit as I've been feeling alot more myself these last few days I couldn't wait to jump back into some sort of creative project. Displayed above is a moodboard from a test shoot that I am currently working on and as you can see I'm obsessing over tailoring which is so in trend at the moment. I will post some behind the scene shots and the final photographs on completion of the project but until then I will leave this moodboard to keep you inspired.

Apart from recovery I've been finding myself getting extremely frustrated with finding a graduate job it's so hard to find a position that will actually offer you an opportunity to develop professionally and at the moment it feels like I am going to be serving flat whites to grumpy customers for the rest of my life. Nevertheless, I'm not about to give up the search anytime soon, I'm one of those people who will fight to get what I want!

As a photographer it is so important to keep inspired and since I've been planning a lot of new shoots recently I couldn't help but to share this beautiful editorial photographed by Daniel Jackson for Harpers Bazaar US March 2012. Doutzen Kroes absolutely kills it in these flawless white garments.

London Collection Mens or L:CM is a male fashion week which is held twice a year (January and June) and is ever growing each season. Now I know these photographs are just over a year old (S/S14) but I couldn't help but to display some of the incredible street style that can be captured whilst touring around various shows and presentations. For me personally street style is one of the main inspirations behind my own personal style and I must comment on how interesting it is to watch how people interpret influences from fashion designers into their own everyday outfit choices.

Hopefully I will get the opportunity to take this street style series into different countries so I can explore street fashion culture even further, which I must admit would be an extremely exciting adventure.
